Bake Back in Time at The Holst Birthplace Museum

Join the historic cook as she makes a variety of dishes from Mrs Beeton’'s 1880 Shilling Cookery Book.

Previous treats have included Easter biscuits, hot cross scones, drop scones, baked carrot pudding, steamed plum pudding, caraway seed cake and drop scones fresh from the museum’s very own Victorian range!

Visitors are able to watch the demonstration and then try the dishes themselves.

Tea is also served in the basement as part of the event.
