September Events at the Corinium Museum

Sunday 9 September: Heritage Open Day
As part of the national Heritage Open Days scheme, the museum will be open for free. Try out the family fun trail, with a prize at the end.
Time:  2-5pm
Cost: Free entry £1 per children’s trail

Wednesday 12 September: RSC Live The Merry Wives of Windsor - Corinium Cinema
Enjoy an RSC Live screening of The Merry Wives of Windsor, broadcast to the Corinium Cinema.
Down on his luck in the suburbs, John Falstaff plans to hustle his way to a comfortable retirement by seducing the wives of two wealthy men.
Unknown to him, it’s the women of Windsor who really pull the strings, orchestrating Falstaff’s comeuppance amidst a theatrical smorgasbord of petty rivalries, jealousies and over-inflated egos.

Thursday 27 September: Martin Jones – Tales from a Civil Engineer - Evening Lecture
2018 sees The Institution of Civil Engineers celebrating its 200th Anniversary. From Brunel’s railways to Thomas Telford’s bridges, Civil Engineering has had a huge impact on our landscape and our lives. Join Martin Jones to hear about the life of a Civil Engineer and about the engineering masterminds that inspired him.
