REVIEW: Snow White on Ice at the Everyman Theatre
This week The Russian Ice Stars returned to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham for another lavish ice spectacular - the classic fairytale Snow White.
After only the first few minutes on the stage, it becomes very evident that you are in for a jaw dropping show. It’s hard to believe that these amazing feats can be produced on the Everyman's very own frozen Cheltenham stage! The cast of the show are all expert skaters with some very impressive achievements on their CV’s! Top this with beautiful costumes and sets you have a show that cannot fail to impress the whole family.
This year the cast is joined by the larger than life Caribbean cook and regular of TVam, Rusty Lee as the Fairy News Reporter. Her infectious laugh, bright wings and humour were appreciated by both young and old, gaining momentum as the show progressed.
This is a fabulous night out and comes highly recommended - we loved it and having seen some of their previous shows are looking to the return of The Russian Ice Stars to Cheltenham in the future.
