Places still available for October Half Term Camp
The Prince of Wales Stadium, Cheltenham, will play host to Gloucester Rugby's Junior Development Camp this October along with Tewkesbury Rugby Club.
Junior Camps are run throughout the year and provide a fun and friendly environment to allow youngsters the opportunity to improve their game. Led by former Gloucester Rugby and Samoan international player Terry Fanolua and professional rugby coaches, the junior camps offer an exceptional insight into the game.
The camp will focus on core skills:
- Handling - the basic principles
- Decision Making - the fundamentals of game understanding, evasion and attacking play
- Contact - Tackle technique, rucking, mauling and defensive systems
- Running - The principles of speed and agility
- Team Building - A huge part of the game, so we concentrate on how you work together
It does not matter what level of ability you play at. Everyone, both boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 13 are very welcome at the 2 day camps.
October Half Term Camp Timetable:
- Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 October - Tewkesbury RFC (2 day camp)
- Wednesday 28 & Thursday 29 October - Prince of Wales, Cheltenham (2 day camp)
The price is £60 for the 2 day camp. Every attendee will also receive a ticket to a Gloucester Rugby game of their choice subject to availability AND an exclusive Rugby Camp t-shirt.
