Glastonbury Festival band Circa Waves will play 'intimate gig' in Gloucester

Ahead of their Glastonbury festival performance, Liverpool Rock band Circa Waves will play an intimate show at Gloucester Guildhall.

With huge support from Radio 1, a recent US tour under their belts and Mainstage Reading and Leeds performances to come, this will be your last chance to catch this band in a venue this size.

Debut album ‘Young Chasers’ hit the top 10 with four Radio 1 A-list singles, the most notable of which was ‘T-Shirt Weather’. In a mere six months after its release the band had sold out Brixton Academy.

From the very first moment, second album ‘Different Creatures’ released in March 2017 sounded like a different band, showcasing Kieran’s disenchantment with the world he sees. With more in common with Foo Fighters and Nirvana than The Strokes, the pop sensibility is still there, but now it comes buried in up-to-11 alt-rock guitars.
plus support from POLARY and CALI O.

  • Where: Gloucester Guildhall
  • When: Wednesday 21 June
  • Time: Doors 7.30pm
  • Tickets: £15
