Huge Italy Confirmation Boosts RAF100 Celebration!
The Royal International Air Tattoo is thrilled to confirm that the Italian Air Force will be attending the RIAT 2108 with a fantastic commitment of four flying acts and five aircraft in the static display.
The national aerobatic team the Frecce Tricolori will be entertaining visitors with their colourful and dynamic flying display. Also taking to the skies will be a Typhoon fighter, T-346 Master jet trainer and the impressively manoeuvrable C-27J Spartan transport aircraft, capable of loops and rolls during its display!
Italy will also be showcasing the C-27J and Typhoon on the ground, alongside a Tornado ground attack fighter and two helicopters, the HH-101 and HH-139. This huge support further increases both the flying and static displays and means that the RAF100 celebrations at the Air Tattoo will be even more special. Grazie Italia!
The T-346 manufacturer, Leonardo, was confirmed last week as sending an example of the aircraft into the static display. There are also now five examples of the C-27J attending the Air Tattoo; two from Italy and one each from Lithuania, Romania and Slovakia.
