The Mega Galmping Pods provide everything you need for a great self-catering short break.
 
Whitemead Forest Park's Glamping Pods are luxury furnished MegaPod timber lodges which are great for couples and families with young children. They are situated on a fantastic hillside location and offer stunning views across the park.
 
With a choice of four types of glamping pods, from B&B pods to Mega Pods XL, the luxury furnished pods sleep up to four people and include:

  • Double bed
  • Corner sofa that converts into another double bed
  • Small kitchen area comprising of a dining table, sink, microwave, fridge, storage cupboard and a small work surface
  • Lighting, heating, plug sockets and plenty of headroom
  • All bedding
  • Toilet and hand basin
  • Underfloor heating
  • Outside picnic area for dining, sunbathing and chilling out
  • Parking for one car
  • TV/DVD player

The Forest of Dean’s 27,000 acres are criss-crossed with well maintained footpaths and cycle tracks that cover a breathtaking range of scenery. Nearby you will also find: the Clearwell Caves, where you can discover how iron ore has been mined for more than 4,000 years; Lydney Docks, a tranquil waterway that teams with wildlife; the Dean Forest Railway, a heritage railway operated by steam trains; and Dean Heritage Centre, housing a generous collection of artefacts from the surrounding area.
