About The Wharf House Riverside Restaurant
The Wharf House is an award-winning Waterside Restaurant that combines a fine blend of setting and dining on the edge of the historic city of Gloucester. It's stunning location allows visitors to enjoy both the view and fantastic walks that both the River Severn and the Over Canal have to offer. It is popular with couples and families whilst also being a great venue for large parties.
The classic restaurant enjoys a relaxed ambiance, friendly staff and delectable dishes, created with flair and imagination, whilst using the best of local produce.
All profits made by the Wharf House are used for the promotion and restoration of the Hereford and Gloucester Canal.

Menus are created with flair and imagination, giving mouth-watering quality food to savour. The experienced team pride themselves on the use of only the freshest local produce where possible which means the menus are constantly changing to take advantage of seasonal produce.
For large party bookings of 20 or more, we would be happy to offer a menu tailored to your needs.

Open Monday 10am-3pm & Tues-Sat for:
- Morning Coffee and Cakes: 10am - 12pm
- Lunch: 12pm - 3pm
- Afternoon Tea: 3pm - 5pm
- Evening Restaurant: 6pm onwards. Last orders 9pm
The Wharf House Visitor Centre
The free visitor's centre explores 750 years of the Leadon Valley, from the Roman Vineyards, the Civil War, willow growing and basketry, to the on-going restoration of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal.
It also promotes the work of local artists and crafts people. Examples of their work are on display and for sale at The Wharf House.
