Pumpkin Picking at Primrose Vale
Wednesday 23 October – Sunday 3 November 2024
The trail is suitable for children of all ages, though it is most enjoyed by those between 3 and 15 years old. The trail guides visitors around the farm to discover various challenges, tasks, and puzzles. There are two trail options: one designed for pre-school age children and another for those who are reading and writing. For families with mixed-age children, solutions can be provided to suit the group. It is a wonderful way to spend a few hours outdoors during the half term, and a small treat awaits at the end.
The shop also offers thousands of home-grown pumpkins for sale (see link below for details on the separate PYO Pumpkin event).
Hot drinks and light refreshments are available at the Potting Shed Café, with seating provided in the marquee.
Sorry, no dogs permitted on the trail or the pumpkin fields.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Sturdy footwear is recommended – prepared for mud! Pushchairs that can cope with grass are normally fine in all but the wettest conditions, but there will be areas you cannot enter.
Timed tickets help maintain manageable numbers on the trail and ensure adequate parking. Tickets must be purchased in advance for specific time slots. Walk-in customers will be accommodated based on availability, but an additional £1 per person will be charged.
