Pumpkin Picking at Primrose Vale

Saturday 26 - Wednesday 30 October 2024

Primrose Vale invites visitors to enjoy a delightful pumpkin picking experience at their dedicated PYO fields. This ticketed event offers a fantastic opportunity to select the perfect pumpkin with entry fees redeemable against the cost of the pumpkins. Wheelbarrows are available for hire to assist in your pumpkin harvest.

Pumpkins will be available for picking a couple of weekends before the half term, making it an ideal autumn activity for families.

Important Details:

  • No Dogs Permitted: To ensure a pleasant experience for all, dogs are not allowed on the trail or pumpkin fields.
  • Accompanied Children Only: All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Footwear: Sturdy footwear is recommended due to potentially muddy conditions. The pumpkin patch features natural growth with straggly vines and soil, so gloves are advised to handle prickles and small nettles.
  • Separate Event: The Halloween Trail starts at the farm shop and is a separate event. To visit both attractions on the same day, please book tickets for each. Allow approximately an hour for pumpkin picking and 45 minutes to 2 hours for the Halloween Trail. Wheelbarrows cannot be taken across the main road between sites.

Directions: Primrose Vale is located just off the A46 Shurdington Road, about 50 yards from the A417 / A46 junction towards Cheltenham. It’s conveniently situated near M5 junction 11A, with Gloucester 4.5 miles away and Cheltenham 3.5 miles away.

Other Pumpkin Picking Dates: Available on 5 & 6 October and 12 & 13 October.
