Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical at the Everyman Theatre Cheltenham

Tuesday 11 – Saturday 15 March 2025

Relive the ‘90s with Cruel Intentions: The Musical at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham

Following sell-out seasons in London and New York, the brand-new smash hit musical Cruel Intentions is coming to Cheltenham! Based on the iconic film and inspired by Les Liaisons Dangereuses, this production is packed with ‘90s pop classics, featuring songs from Britney Spears, Boyz II Men, Christina Aguilera, TLC, R.E.M., Ace of Base, Natalie Imbruglia, The Verve, NSYNC, and many more!

Step-siblings Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil engage in a cruel bet, with Kathryn goading Sebastian into seducing Annette Hargrove, the headmaster’s virtuous daughter. As they weave a web of secrets and temptation, their cruel crusade wreaks havoc on the students at their exclusive Manhattan high school. It is not long before the duo becomes entangled in their own web of deception and unexpected romance, leading to explosive results.

This iconic movie set to the decade’s best songs is an irresistible combination, and with over forty 4 and 5-star reviews, it promises to be the ultimate ‘90s night out in Cheltenham!

Guests can enhance their evening at the Everyman by enjoying a two-course pre-show dining experience. They are invited to join in Matcham's restaurant on the 2nd floor for a delightful meal before the show. This event is part of the great lineup of entertainment and activities that make Cheltenham a fantastic place for a night out.
