Angry Birds at the Everyman Theatre
Tuesday 1 - Wednesday 2 July 2025
Following the success of The Other School (2024), Legend Trippers (2023), The Dreaming (2022), and Brass (2021), Stagedoor Learning returns to the Everyman Theatre’s main stage with another brand-new musical.
Set in a struggling rural school, Angry Birds follows a group of disengaged young people tasked with performing a song for the Prime Minister—someone they believe knows nothing about their lives or futures. In a bid to inspire them, their teacher introduces them to the story of Emmeline, Christabel, Sylvia, and Adela Pankhurst. As the class is transported into the world of the Suffragettes, they begin to find their own voices and understand the power of collective action.
With a rock-inspired score and an uplifting narrative of unity and empowerment, this powerful new musical from writer Dougal Irvine (The Other School) is set to inspire audiences of all ages.
