A taste of Italy comes to Tewkesbury
An extensive range of authentic Italian delicacies will be on offer at an Italian food market coming to Tewkesbury next week.
Parmigiano, prosciutto, salami, olives, and extra virgin oils are just a few of the mouth-watering examples of Italian cuisine set to be on sale when Italia In Piazza visits on Friday, 15 November.
Visitors to the market, which will run from 9am to 4pm at Spring Gardens car park, can experience the typical smells and flavours of Italy as they wander through the market being greeted by friendly Italian stall holders renowned for their passion for food.
Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Lead Member for Economic Development Cllr Dave Waters said “It is so good to see the Italian market returning to Tewkesbury town centre for the second time this year. It promises to be just as good as previous visits, which have proved very popular. I strongly encourage members of the public to go along to experience the Italian buzz and help to support our local economy at the same time.”
Simon Faro, owner of Italia in Piazza says, “We are extremely happy to be given the opportunity to return to Tewkesbury again this year. We will bring you a truly Italian experience, with all the quality produce you would expect to find in Italy, to your doorstep by professional Italian stall holders who will offer you high standard customer service and a vibrant atmosphere, and hopefully some sunshine too.”
