Blow those January Blues away at Cheltenham Racecourse
January may traditionally be a quiet month, after all the festivities of Christmas, but Cheltenham Racecourse is gearing up for the annual New Year’s Day meeting – a great excuse to get the whole family out of the house!
Wash away those New Year’s Eve cobwebs with racing at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day, Wednesday 1st January, 2014. One of the most relaxed racedays of the year, the combination of racegoers enjoying the final part of the Christmas break as well as some cracking racing is a great way to round off the holiday.
Children under 18 receive free entry on New Year’s Day and to keep the little ones happy, there will be added entertainment on offer. With activities such as face painting, colouring, a kids show, balloon modelling and personal appearances at intervals from Peppa Pig in the family zone, the day is guaranteed to be just as fun for the little ones as it is the grown-ups!*
Tickets for New Year’s Day start at just £12 in the Best Mate enclosure and £25 in the Club/Tattersalls enclosure.
*Kids Zone only available in the Tatts/Club enclosure and not the Best Mate enclosure.
