Open longer for lambing at Cotswold Farm Park

Open longer for lambing at Cotswold Farm Park

An after-hours farming experience that’s not to be missed.

On Tuesday 22nd March, the Cotswold Farm Park will be extending their opening hours for a unique after-school lambing event.

For the first time in the Farm Park’s history, the team will be leaving the gates open for an extra two hours so that visitors can enjoy an extended and interactive lambing experience, as the sun sets over the beautiful Cotswolds countryside.

Visitors will learn all about the numbering system, the ear tags, how the team know when to expect their first lambs, and how to spot a ewe who is about to give birth.
The Farm Park will be open from 10.30am as normal, but from 4.00pm the Touch Barn will host a special exhibition, with staff on hand to talk you through the whole lambing process and answer all of your questions. There will be bottle feeding, a quiz on what you have learned and the chance to get an up-close look at some of our newest arrivals.
The gates won’t be closing until 6.30pm and the cafe will stay open until 7pm, with an after-hours menu of some of the favourites from the daytime menu, plus the chef’s special Shepherd’s Pie (£3.95 with drink for children, £7.95 for adult portion).

All activities will be included in the normal cost of admission, Farm Park members enter for free.
