Conservation Event: 'Lemur Week' at Cotswold Wildlife Park
As Lemurs are now one of the most threatened groups of mammals on the planet Cotswold Wildlife Park are hosting a week of fun activities and keeper talks to help raise awareness and funds for Lemur Conservation in Madagascar.
During the week there will be daily Lemur Talk & Feed at 12 noon and 2pm, with Keepers dressed as Lemurs. There will be a bean bag game called ‘Lemur Dunk’ - £1 a go with prizes, along with a raffle where you can win a Lemur Encounter and Adoption and a stall selling Lemur themed items and find out about Lemur conservation.
We are also running a Lemur Drawing Competition with the best picture in each category winning a Lemur Encounter. Draw and send us your best Lemur picture, focusing on a conservation message. Entries should be on a single sheet of paper no larger than A4. There are four age categories: 8 and under, 9-13 years, 14-17 years and 18 years and over.
