Gloucester Rugby Residential Summer Camp announced
Gloucester Rugby has teamed up with the Beachley Barracks in Chepstow to offer young aspiring rugby players a unique rugby camp experience.
Their residential camps have proven to be extremely successful in previous years. This year the week long camp will run from Monday 14 to Friday 18 August for boys aged 14 - 16 years old. The setting for the camp is British Army Base Beachley Barracks in Chepstow.
Gloucester Rugby professional coaches will ensure those attending are given every opportunity to enhance their rugby skills and set a platform for future development. This coupled with the mix of mental and physical challenges provided by the British Army will ensure players are tested to the full.
The week will incorporate rugby activities, such as passing and handling skills, decision making, tackling, breakdown and attack & defence shape, with military exercises including a military circuit, assault course, navigation exercises and much more.
