Temporary Closure of Gloucester Guildhall

Temporary Closure of Gloucester Guildhall

Statement from Gloucester Guildhall regarding the temporary closure.

As you are aware the situation surrounding COVID-19, and the measures to prevent its spread, are ever-changing.

Due to government advice Gloucester City Council has taken the decision to close its art and cultural venues for the foreseeable future to limit non-essential social contact.

The health, and well being of our customers, artists and staff is our highest priority.

In the interest of your safety we have decided to reschedule or cancel all live events, films, workshops and exhibitions up to 17th April and close the venue to the public. Please see below for a full list of live events affected by this closure.

Due to the unprecedented nature of this situation, it may be necessary for us to rearrange more events in the coming weeks. We are in constant contact with agents and promoters for upcoming shows. We will continue to update our social media pages with new information as we have it.

Ticket holders will be contacted individually to arrange transfers of tickets, and refunds if required. We ask that if tickets were purchased via 3rd party sellers (See tickets, Ticketmaster etc) that customers contact them directly.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. Please be aware our small box office team will be extremely busy, whilst they try to assist ticket holders as quickly as possible. We ask that customers only contact our box office with urgent enquiries, to allow the team to work through each event accordingly.

Please note our on-site box office will remain closed during this time, in line with the government advice on social distancing.

We would like to thank you for your understanding, and for your continued support of our venue. We are extremely disappointed to need to make such arrangements, but the health of our customers and staff must take priority in these uncertain times.
