Gloucestershire: A Life in Lockdown Exhibition
Back in March 2020, the Museum of Gloucester invited everyone in the county to capture their memories of #Gloucestershire during the period of #lockdown, for an exhibition at the museum titled ‘A Life in Lockdown’: Memories of Covid-19 in Gloucestershire…
The museum is hoping to display as many of these memories as possible in a new exhibition in the galleries, starting Thursday 26 November 2020, as well as a producing a permanent record of this period in their digital collection. There will be chance for all visitors to vote for an overall ‘People’s Choice’ award once the exhibition has started.
Further information on this exhibition, including opening hours and events will be available on their website very soon.
LATEST: The #LifeInLockdown exhibition was meant to open on 26 November 2020, but due to the new Covid-19 restrictions on 31 October the exhibition in the museum is being postponed and is going to be launched as a digital exhibition from 3 December instead. This move also allows further submissions to be contributed to the digital collection. Please check the links for more information.
