FOCUS ON: The QuadQuest experience in the Cotswolds
Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds AONB on the Notgrove Estate you will find QuadQuest - a fun-fuelled, eco-friendly electric quad bike experience which enables you to explore the hills and valleys of the Cotswolds.
The man behind QuadQuest is Wojciech Wojciechowski, his first name anglicised, phonetic interpretation is ‘Voytek’.
During his years in the Polish military, Voytek taught cadets defensive tank and armoured vehicle driving skills which today helps with training quad bike riders.
From his past days in retail, Voytek loves interacting with people; combine this with a zest for the outdoors, nature and adventures such as zip-wiring, abseiling, and parachuting, it makes him the perfect leader for your QuadQuest experience. In his own words, “QuadQuest was born out of my passion for the great outdoors and the thrill of adrenalin”.
Quad Biking is commonly associated with a lot of noise, pollution and destruction of the environment. Voytek wanted to do it differently.
It took almost a year to find the right venue for his idea, quad bike adventures with an adrenaline rush but without negative impact on nature and the environment.
Electric bikes do not generate any noise, fumes or heat therefore riders can enjoy the ride, beautiful vistas and connection with nature with minimal disturbance. Environmentally, disturbing the soil with the bikes encourages new wild flower growth. Voytek and his team did not erect any permanent or even temporary structures to run his venture. Everything needed to provide an outstanding experience for QuadQuest's customers is mobile. At the end of the day, the bikes are shuttled into storage - no one would ever know QuadQuest was there!
The venture was opened in the middle of the pandemic, five months behind schedule. It was a bumpy start and despite working outdoors had to close twice for lockdowns. As a new business, QuadQuest were not entitled to any financial support from the government and Voytek had to find a part-time job to survive and support his new walk of life.
Opening QuadQuest was an instant success and exceeded all expectations. Voytek could not dream of anything better. The influx of enquiries and bookings was overwhelming. There are no plans of expanding QuadQuest into a huge enterprise - Voytek's goal of creating his dream job has been achieved.
As it stands, QuadQuest is still the only electric quad bike adventure company in the country.
With seven different adventures QuadQuest offers excitement for adults, for families and for children in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. It certainly will be an unforgettable memory for all.
