Morning Yoga at Gloucester Cathedral >

Start your day with Morning Yoga in the breathtaking surroundings of Gloucester Cathedral. Join experienced practitioner Lucy and a small group of ticket holders for exclusive access to the Cathedral before it opens to the public. Sessions will take place in various stunning locations, including the Medieval Cloister and the serene Garth garden, where you can watch the sun rise over the tower.

Experience the ancient practice of sound bathing in the magnificent Cathedral Nave. Lie down and relax as you are ‘bathed’ in sound waves, with a specially composed soundtrack featuring local sounds like the tolling bell and bird song. This session promotes mental wellbeing by encouraging relaxation and the release of stress and anxiety.

Walk the Labyrinth >
Friday 2 - Thursday 29 August 2024
Join a 1,000-year tradition by walking the Labyrinth at Gloucester Cathedral. This winding path, used for meditation and prayer, will be in the Nave for you to explore. Modelled after the Labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral, this symbolic journey represents the path to enlightenment or your deepest self.
