Latest PYO news from Primrose Vale
The warmer days have done wonders for the crops at Primrose Vale, making it a perfect time for picking. Many of the fruits are ripe and ready, with more on the way.
Strawberries are especially abundant this weekend, and raspberries are also coming along nicely. The blackcurrant crop looks fantastic, and redcurrants, tayberries, loganberries, and blackberries are all thriving. Good availability is anticipated, but it's a good idea to check online if planning a special trip, especially at the end of a busy weekend.
Unfortunately, gooseberries are already out of season due to high demand this year.
The café is open as well, so take a look at the menu and consider making a day of the visit.
Unlike many PYO farms, there is no need to book or pay an entry fee—just pay for what you pick. However, always check availability before making a special journey.
