Santa Paws: Blue Peter Dog Visits Winter Glow
Santa Paws: Blue Peter Dog Puts Local Christmas Event on the Map
Winter Glow, the West Midlands’ biggest Christmas event, appeared on Blue Peter on Friday 6th December after the show’s beloved dog, Henry, the beagle-basset hound cross, paid a visit to Father Christmas. During the visit, Henry discovered if he was on the naughty or nice list, received presents from Santa, met Mrs Claus in her bakery, and walked the illuminated light trail.

A Christmas treat: Henry, alongside Blue Peter presenter Shini, meets Mrs Claus in her bakery where he receives personalised dog biscuits.
Naughty or nice: Henry meets Santa himself to find out if he’s on the naughty or nice list.
Winter Glow is the only festive event in the Three Counties to welcome four-legged friends. Its dedicated Santa Paws evenings offer pet lovers the opportunity to bring their dogs to meet Father Christmas and walk the magical illuminated light trail.
Jenna Marks, Director at Winter Glow, commented: “We’re all huge fans of Blue Peter at Winter Glow so it was a very special moment to host Henry at the event. We don’t believe any member of the family should be left out of the festive fun, and we’re so looking forward to welcoming more furry friends – and their humans – as part of our dedicated dog-friendly evenings in the coming weeks.”
