CONFIRMED: Luminarium - Architects of Air at Taurus Crafts

CONFIRMED: Luminarium - Architects of Air at Taurus Crafts

Wander through a dazzling maze of winding paths, tunnels and soaring domes bathed in liquid coloured daylight.

Try something different this July. Experience a Luminarium. Wander through one of the spectacular, luminous worlds created by 'Architects of the Air'.

From the Guggenheim in Spain to the Sydney Opera House in Australia, these enormous, interactive walk-in sculptures have astounded audiences across the globe. Enjoyed by 2 million people in 37 countries across 5 continents, now a Luminarium with 'Architects of Air' will be shown at Taurus Crafts, on the A48 by Lydney, Gloucestershire, from July 22nd 2011.

Daylight radiates through the structure spilling liquid colour through the  curved walls of  winding paths and soaring domes. The labyrinth of tunnels and caverns  cover 1000sqm and allow visitors to wander through a world of colour which transforms people and spaces creating a world apart from the normal and the everyday.

  • “The luminaria are successful precisely because they have that….. quality of transforming a place, making a magical event, then quietly disappearing.”

    Hugh Pearman, Sunday Times

  • Event: Architects of Air at Taurus Crafts
  • Date: Friday 22 - Sunday 31 July 2011
  • Where: Taurus Crafts, Nr. Lydney, Forest of Dean, Glos. GL15 6BU
