KIDS GO FREE this summer with the National Trust
To help families make the most of the great British summer, the National Trust is offering free entry for kids from until 26 August at places across the South West.
Along with hundreds of special National Trust places across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, anybody who downloads the special vouchers can enjoy fun-packed adventures during the summer holidays.
“We want more families to enjoy their summer with the National Trust. We know that money is tight and people are staying at home this year – the staycation is continuing – so this is our way of making it easier for more people to enjoy the places we have to offer on their doorstep,” said Jo Atkins, Marketing Manager for the Trust in the South West.
The vouchers are valid for two children aged between five and 16 with any adult who either pays the full price or has a National Trust membership.
The vouchers can be simply downloaded from the National Trust website (www.nationaltrust.org.uk/kidsgofree), and taken to a participating National Trust location for a fun day out.
And for plenty of ideas for what to do to keep the children occupied in the summer, the Trust has a range of summer planers to download, print out and stick on the fridge – one for each county in the region.
“For each day of the holidays we’ve got suggestion of events or activities to fill the long summer break with the family. It is aimed at giving the family ideas for keeping the kids occupied and having fun all summer long,” added Jo.
“Whether it’s going wild in the outdoors or discovering a cool taste for history inside an ancient castle, we want families to make it a summer to remember with the National Trust.”
