Taurus Crafts brings you a creative and inspirational seasonal experience with the area’s largest Christmas Markets featuring crafts, gifts, arts, toys, food and drink.
Running over three weekends (1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th & 16th December) the markets provide an ideal compliment to everything else that’s on off at Taurus Crafts, including:
At the working pottery find beautiful hand-made ceramics – you can even throw your own pot and paint your own pot. At the Gift Shop, browse the wide selection of design-led gifts and crafts, plus fair trade products.
Visit the onsite Craft Units which include, Handmade Chocolate and Patisserie, Picture Framing, Jewellery, Original Artworks, Textiles, stained glass, Vintage Inspired Clothing, Stone Mason, Leatherworker, Fair-trade designer clothes and the Garden Retreat health and beauty room offering therapies and treatments.
For gifts for “foodies” visit La Bodega, supplying organic, local, and deli food and wine. You can choose your own delicious deli treats and have a hamper made to order. Local meats and cheeses a specialty.
Then take a break in the Whole-food Café, serving meals prepared on site, using many local and organic ingredients and including seasonal foods from the Taurus Organic Market Garden. Our own blend of coffee provides the perfect accompaniment to the range of handmade cakes & bakes.
For the complete ‘ready-for-Christmas’ experience why not come prepared to take home one of our high quality Christmas trees. Available throughout December we have a great selection of Norway spruce trees from Lydney Park Estate and Huntley Estate, and a selection from further afield. Prices start from £13.
From the 17th December Taurus will be showing their 12 days of Christmas projection in the Garden Room – its free to see and provides a bit of light entertainment in the warm!
