A warm welcome always awaits at The Black Horse, a 400 year old country pub perched on the edge of Minchinhampton Common, with magnificent views across the valleys. Whether it is a sun drenched day in the terraced garden, or a less perfect day in the conservatory, the landscape that The Black Horse overlooks is never less than stunning, boasting some of the best views in the Cotswolds.

The Black Horse at Amberley serves superb, traditional pub food and a wonderful range of ales, local and not so local, as well as a great selection of ciders and wines, from a devoting team of friendly and enthusiastic staff.

The Black Horse is situated in the village of Amberley, which can be found just off the A46 Bath Road, about half way between Stroud and Nailsworth.
