Birdland Park & Gardens in the Cotswolds

The Stanton, Snowshill and the Edge walk has been kindly supplied by National Trails.

This beauty of a walk leads you between two of the most picturesque villages in the Cotswolds, over hilltops, down valleys and through shaded woodlands. Whilst slightly more challenging than others in the series, your efforts will be rewarded by invitingly warm pubs and some of the most splendid views in the country.

  • Distance: 6 miles (Short cut 2½ miles)
  • Duration: 3½ -4½ hrs (Short cut 1½ - 2½ hrs)
  • Difficulty: Moderate, some steep sections and stiles. Muddy sections after wet weather.

    PLEASE NOTE Point 3 on the map has changed as the turning circle referred to has sine been removed.  So instead of
    Turn right along the road to Snowshill and head down the wide path sharp left, opposite the turning circle. Keep right to enter the National Trust wood, and some 50m further down turn right. Follow this path, keeping straight.........



    The guidance should now be:
